Peloponnese

The Peloponnese peninsula is the southernmost part of Greece, as well as of the European continent.  During prehistoric years, Peloponnese was inhabited by pre-Hellenic tribes, most common ones, were, the Pelasgians, later was inhabited by Achaeans and Ionians, it was the center of a great civilization, which flourished in Mycenae.
